Rug-risk scoring for Solana developers, sold as credits over an HTTP API, a web app and a Telegram bot. The score is a measured rate — how often this developer's launches draw real money and die — calibrated lookahead-free over 367,839 resolved launches and regenerated every three hours. Payments are receive-only by construction: the service holds no key and cannot send.
The data under the product. Every pump.fun launch ingested in real time behind a swappable adapter; every bonding curve checkpointed on a survival ladder; roughly 1.7 million curve ticks a day into Postgres. RPC calls are routed across five providers' free tiers by method cost, with failover that reacts rather than predicts.
A paper-trading season in which a bot ran a backtested strategy against human players, followed by a real-money twin with a full execution chain. Re-measured on the complete population, the apparent edge turned out to be survivorship in the data source. Wound down cleanly, to the lamport. The number was the deliverable.

A signal that does not separate adds noise, not caution.
I like taking a messy real-time feed, turning it into outcome data, and seeing what — if anything — actually predicts something. Usually less than I hoped: three "obviously good" signals got dropped from RugScore because the data said they didn't separate, after I'd weighted them at 45 points in the first version. The graph beats my intuition more often than I'd like.
By day I run the technology infrastructure for a public school district in Illinois — networks, identity, phones, and the servers nobody notices until they stop. Nights and weekends, I build things with data. Thirty years of keeping other people's systems up is probably where the next habit comes from.
Being boring on purpose. Receive-only payments. Guards that fail closed. Backups that were restored once, for real, before anyone trusted them. A watchdog, a self-recalibration timer, a nightly diary — because the product is the uptime too.
